Finished Blog!

Okay. My game is finally done. YAY! Is it good? Do I like it? No. BOOO!
So this is my hopefully final post on this blog. This is my last CT class, before I switch to DT. I don't want to switch. I just want to stop working with Scratch.
NO MORE SCRATCH IS GOOD FOR ME!!!!!

play my game. this is what all the screens look like.

OK. Here we go again.
I feel like everything I did in this lesson and the lesson previous has gone to waste. I tried playing the game and it didn't work. I'm annoyed!
OK. So now I change paths. I only have one more lesson to get the script right if I don't want to do for homework, which I don't want to do. So that's less than 60 minutes, people!
So now I know how my game's actually going to be.
Wish me luck!
:) :D B-) :P
BTW, notice the two sprites in some positions. Alas the problem. And the white one's the solution!

Again

OK,

Pretty much I just finished up on Sprite 3 with what I did with Sprites 1 & 2 and goofed around, so there is not much to say.
So... until next time!

Game Well Underway

Hey,
My game is finally underway! That is to say, today I felt in complete control of it. Now, when you press sprites 1 or 2, it asks a question, and it knows the right answer! For once, I wasn't irritated at it!
:) :D B-) :P

Hey,
Today Mr. Price helped me- I'm so glad I went to him. He knew how to fix the problem with the continuous life count down when the puffs touch the Ozone Layer. I also started writing questions to answer, and so far that was a success. I wasn't as irritated with Scratch as I was in previous lessons, so that's definitely an improvement. I was pretty optimistic today, and that's saying a lot. I hope I finish before time is up! :) :D B-) :P

Post 5

Hey (Standard Greeting- so boring, I know)

This is my fifth blog post on this blog. Mostly I have to say that my timer thinks that when I tell everything to stop, he not included on the everything list. Look at it- it just won't stop! Enough of my annoyance for Scratch- My background and life system worked, until I got my timer and 'repeat until' blocks mixed together- now my lifecount will, as soon as a sprite touches it, count down rapidly, INTO THE NEGATIVES! The image is so big so you can see my scripts clearly. Atleast all my sprites hide and I go to background 2 when I press the green flag, and when I click the stage, the sprites show and the backround switches. It's a fail-to-succeed type project, but I'm worried we're going t run out pf time to complete it before we have to switch classes.
BTW, I switched to using my practice screen. Except for the backrounds, my other one is just messy!
:) :D B-) :P

Hey!!

I got so fed up with my project today. It just wouldn't listen! So I started a new one. Not to use, of course, but just so I could get the script right without the other script's distractions. So I know how I'm going to make my script- instead of having a fluent motion, there'll be little chunky movements. My life Variable finally worked, so I should be able to continue with my real game next class, and it'll have a script that'll actually work! On the right is a screenshot of the one I worked on today. Until Next Time! :) :D B-) :P

Hey,

This may look the same as my past screen image, but that's what the screen looks like. In truth, I got all the clouds to move now! :) Unfortunately, the clouds still don't react when they are clicked. :( It would be so much easier if you could copy-paste on Scratch; that's the type of game I have, and I waste so much time. I tried my best, but it was tedious- I couldn't really get anywhere. I'll continue working on the game, and it'll be finished before we have to switch to DT (hopefully :) )

Until Next Time,

:) B-) :D :P

This is my game as of November 5th, 2010, at 9:31am. I've started my script for my Pollution Puffs (the black cloud thingies) and chose the basic colors for all of my backgrounds (most likely all). The instruction screen is green, because this game is a green game, and then each game screen becomes a murkier blue, until the ultra-murky game over screen. I made goo process this morning, and I think my game will be a success!

Game Beginings

Hey Everybody!
Welcome to my blog! It's all about making computer games on Scratch! Scratch is a computer program which allows us to make computer games from SCRATCH (get it?)! It's an awesome program, and fairly easy to use, once you get the hang of it.
Back to the game: My game is all for saving the Earth and making the World a better place. You get three lives- one for each of the red lines (the layers of the ozone). The black "Pollution Puffs" can't touch those- you loose a life. So you have to Poof the Pollution Puffs and go as long as you can!
This is just how the game looks at the very begining- before and after photos. I hope the game will be a success to all!
:) :D :P
